About Us

Meet the Kikabi Pet Care team!

Hello! We're Clara and Elmo, the duo behind Kikabi Pet Care (KPC). To us, pets aren't just animals, they are the heartbeat of a home. We both grew up surrounded by furry friends. Elmo grew up with 3 dogs and trained them all to be well-behaved inside and outside the house. Clara grew up surrounded by friends' and family's dogs and cats which taught her how to provide exceptional companionship to their pets.

We have a dog, Kikko, and a cat, Wasabi, in our apartment who we treat as our kids and we hope to do the same for your loving babies! Both our pets need additional care with seasonal allergies, specific dietary restrictions, and medication which has given us extensive experience managing various pets' specific needs. Although we don't have a fenced yard, there are plenty of parks and trails we love to take our dog to, and are happy to bring your pup to them as well!

Owner, Pet Care Provider

Hello! I'm Clara, the owner and primary pet care provider for Kikabi Pet Care! I started KPC in 2024 wanting to extend my love for pets to our community. I know every pet is special and has different needs/personalities that may be hard to accommodate at larger scale pet service businesses which is what sets KPC apart. I ensure your pet is set up to succeed in all the services we provide by bringing over 5 years of pet care experience and a lifelong love for pets! I have experience with all types of dogs and cats and will let your pet get comfortable with me as we continue interacting with each other. My specialties include: obedience work, pet cuddles, and understanding dog/cat body language.

Anselmo (Elmo) (he/him)

Pet Care Provider

Kumusta! My name is Anselmo but you can call me Elmo. I'm not only Clara's fiancé but KPC's biggest supporter and fan! I'm a part-time care provider, as I work in office for the majority of the week. When I'm back from work and on weekends, I assist Clara with our pet care services. When I'm not around, I can assure you that Clara is the best pet care provided in town (and I swear I'm not bias)! I'm always so happy to welcome new pups into our house giving them the same love I've given the many pets I've had growing up. My specialties include: throwing the ball really far, giving lots of belly rubs, and sneaking a couple more treats so your pup ends up loving me more than Clara (but don't tell her that).

Treat & Playtime Specialist

Ruff ruff ruff! Hello to all my future furry friends! My name is Kikko. My paw-rents said they named me after the soy sauce brand, Kikkoman, because of my beautiful black coat that matches the salty sauce. Although the sauce is salty, I am anything but that! I'm a 4yr old boxer mix with the the perfect amount of energy to play at the park or with you and then take a good snore-filled nap on my bed. I love making new friends and showing them all my toys, nap spots, and where they keep the treats! I cannot wait to become best friends with you.

Nap & Scratch Specialist

Meeeeeeooww! Wasabi here! Although I look like a cat, I have the spunk, friendliness, and playful attitude similar to my dog sister Kikko. I'm not sure you can even consider me a cat because of how patient I am with dogs that don't understand I'm not another fluffy toy! I will always be the first one to greet a guest who enters our apartment making sure they feel safe and secure. I go at your pace and give you the time to acclimate never swatting or hissing at you. I'm a 3yr domestic short hair cat and I hope I can convince you that cats are just as cool as dogs!
